At Landon Equestrian, we take pride in providing a world-class environment designed to support the breeding, training, and development of elite equine and equestrian athletes. Nestled in the heart of the historical and picturesque Santa Ynez Valley, our 70 acre facility combines state-of-the-art amenities with a deep commitment to excellence in equine care.
Highlights
Exceptional Stabling Our temperature-controlled barns are equipped with spacious, well-ventilated stalls connected to small in-and-outs, customized for the comfort and safety of the horses before training and during downtime. Each stall features automatic waterers that are sanitized daily, high-quality bedding, and easy access to grooming areas and tack rooms. Large windows near the ceiling allow natural light to fill the barns. LEQ currently has 3 large barns, as well as 3 smaller 4-stall barns, one of which is designed to house both breeding stallions and mares due to foal.
Top-Tier Training Arenas With both indoor and outdoor arenas, our facility is perfectly suited for training in any weather. LEQ currently has 2 outdoor arenas, one of which has a small cart track, a large cart track, and 2 pastures. We also have a covered bullpen complete with a large fan for temperature control and excellent lighting for night training. Our arenas feature premium felt and silica sand footing, hangout areas, and Saddleseat-specific equipment to maximize performance.

Reproduction Lab & Breeding Barns From foaling stalls with 24/7 monitoring to a fully equipped reproductive lab, we provide everything needed for a successful breeding program. Whether you're working with our proven stallions or utilizing our embryo transfer services, your breeding goals are in the best hands.
Pastures & Turnouts Our horses thrive with daily turnout in meticulously maintained pastures. Each pasture is securely fenced and offers ample space for grazing, exercise, and socialization.
Lounge Area Our facility includes a comfortable lounge atop our main barn and viewing areas for clients to relax and observe training sessions or breeding consultations.
Hot Walker We have a 6-horse hot walker for conditioning and warm-up use. Show horses on downtime or training horses getting warmed up or will exercise on the hot walker at least 4-5x/week.
Pond We have a reservoir that our founders have stocked with bass and catfish for fishing fun during your stay. The water from this reservoir helps grow our hay fields.
